Sample Letters to Congress to Preserve Open Space Tax Deductions

At present, the Senate and House bills differ over the extension of tax exemptions for donation of

Open Space to preservation organizations; the Senate bill preserves them, the House bill does not.

The bills are headed for Conference Committee, so this is a perfect time to urge your

Senators and Representative to resolve the two bills in favor of extending the tax exemptions.

Our area has benefited greatly from such preservation, and Salford Township urges you to contact your

 Congressional representatives about this issue. Download these letters; they contain all the information you need,
