Salford Community Park - Tylersport

Built largely from grant money, volunteer and Township labor, this 4-acre park on woods and fields leased from the Tylersport Volunteer Fire Co., has none of the noise of the Ridge Road traffic nearby.  It has:

Branchwood Park - Morwood

This 27-acre park on Camp Road is owned and supported equally by Salford and Franconia Townships.  It has:

 Pin Oak Drive

This small parcel is primarily a neighborhood open space area deeded to Salford Township.  Its minimal development includes a baseball backstop, a picnic table, and a swing set.

 Open Space

The Township has been successful in purchasing a 21.6-acre parcel of open space known as the Copper Mine Creek Preservation Area, bound by Hill Road and the North Branch of the Ridge Valley Creek.

Another acquisition is the 104-acre White's Mill property, which is basically under developed and expected to remain so.  Lake fishing is permitted as well as visits to enjoy nature.
